STUDENTS

Username:  Last Name, First Initial of First Name and last 6 digits of Cowley Student ID number (username is not case sensitive)

Example: Billy Student 9777888  would be studentb777888

Note:  Some students enroll keeping their maiden name plus their married name.

Example: Mary Smith-Jones 1777888 would be smithjonesm777888 (No special characters allowed in email addresses or login names. Also, login names are restricted to 20 characters with the last 6 always being the last 6 digits of the ID number. Extra characters are remove from the lastname to keep to 20 characters. Example: Mary McKinnley-Morganfield 1777888 would be mckinnleymorgm777888

Note:  All 9 digit ID numbers from the past have been replaced with a 7 digit ID number. The old ID numbers starting with 999  have dropped the first 2 9’s. All newly created ID numbers start with 1.

Password: Default password up to the first 4 letters of the last name with the first letter being a CAP and the last 4 digits of the SSN. A lastname with only 2 or 3 characters will only have 2 or 3 in the password.
